Ogrizek and Cromwell Fall in Finals of Crimson Tide Fall Championships

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Igor Ogrizek (Daruvar, Croatia) and Brett Cromwell’s (Buffalo, N.Y. / Bollettieri Tennis Academy) impressive run at the 2009 Crimson Tide Fall Championships ended with a hard-fought 9-7 setback to Alabama’s Creighton Blanchard and Michael Davis in the finals of the White Draw.
Fresh off a pair of victories Saturday afternoon, Ogrizek and Cromwell advanced to the championship match with an 8-6 victory over Tennessee Tech’s Josh Girling and Mario Gutierrez earlier in the day.
Radford, which enjoyed one of its most successful fall campaigns in school history, will opened its 2010 spring slate at the South Florida Tournament, Jan. 15 in Tampa, Fla.
