RADFORD, Va. – Third-year head men’s basketball coach Brad Greenberg and his Radford Highlanders are ranked 25th in the 2009-10
CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Preseason Top 25, which was released Monday evening.
The Mid-Major Poll, which is in its 11th season, is made up of teams from the following conferences: America East, Atlantic Sun, Big Sky, Big South, Big West, Colonial, Horizon, Independents, Ivy, Metro Atlantic, Mid-American, Mid-Eastern, Missouri Valley, Northeast, Ohio Valley, Patriot, Southern, Southland, Southwestern, Summit League, Sun Belt, West Coast.
Two days after capturing the 2008-09 Big South regular season title, the Highlanders climbed into the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25 for the first time in school history. Radford debuted at No. 23 on Feb. 23, 2009.
Radford, which returns four starters from its 2009 NCAA Tournament club will tip-off its 2009-10 season Friday, November 13 when it hosts Navy at the Dedmon Center.
