Cheerleaders and Rockers
The Spirit Squad is broken down into two Varsity cheer squads: the Radford University Cheerleaders and the Radford University Rockers. The Highlander mascot is also an integral part of the Spirit Squad. The Spirit Squad promotes the athletic events, creates fun atmospheres and provides support for athletic events. Cheerleading and Dance at Radford is challenging and very rewarding. Each individual works hard to learn new and difficult skills while the coaches actively promote safety.
